| Central Sector Schemes of Scholarship for college and University Students (Ministry of Education) | -The scholarships are awarded by Ministry of Education, Government of India on the basis of results of Higher Secondary/class XII Board examination. A maximum of 82,000 fresh scholarship per annum are provided for pursuing graduate/postgraduate degree in colleges and universities and for professional courses, such as Medical, Engineering, etc. |
Students with gross parents/family income up-to Rs. 4.5 lakh per annum are eligible for scholarship under the Scheme. |
| Scheme of ‘Post-Matric Scholarship’ for students belonging to the Minority Communities (Ministry of Minority Affairs) | -The scholarship is to be awarded for studies in India in a Government or Private Higher Secondary School/College/University. | Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents/guardians from all sources does not exceeds Rs. 2.00 lakh. |
| Post-Matric Scholarship for students with Disabilities (Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities) | Scholarships under the Scheme shall be available for studying in classes XI, XII, Post-Matriculation Diploma/Certificates and Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in India and Master’s Degree/Diploma from any University recognized by UGC/AICTE. | Post-Matric scholarship shall be paid to the students whose parents/guardians income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rupee two lakh fifty thousand only) per annum |

| Kalpana Chawla Chatravati Yojana-Himachal Pradesh (only for Meritorious Girls Students) | Scholarship will be awarded each year to top 2000 meritorious girl students of each stream i.e. Arts, Commerce and Science. | No income criteria. |
| Maharishi Balmiki Chatravati Yojana- Himachal Pradesh | Scholarship shall be paid to all the girl students belonging to Balmiki family. | No income criteria. |
| Mukhya Mantri Vidyarthi Kalyan Yojna- Himachal Pradesh | Scholarship shall be paid to all the girl students belonging to IRDP/BPL/Antodya family. | No income criteria. |
| Indira Gandhi Utkrisht Chatravriti Yojana- Himachal Pradesh | Scholarship shall be awarded to 10 toppers each from the merit list of 10+2 Arts, Commerce and Science supplied by the HP Board. | No income criteria. |
| Dr. Ambedkar Post Matric Scholarship for Economically Backward Class Students-Himachal Pradesh | Scheme aims to provide financial assistance to the OBC, EBC and DNT students. | Students with gross parents/family income up-to Rs. 1 lakh per annum are eligible for scholarship under the Scheme. |
The eligible students are directed to visit National Scholarship Portal (NSP) to apply for various Scholarship Schemes within specified dates. Members of the Scholarship committee also extended help to the students in on-line submission of Scholarship forms.
