Library

The college library is having about 1500 books in various subjects, magazines, and newspapers. Recently our college has registered in NDLI (National Digital Library of India). National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services containing textbooks, articles, videos, audio books, lectures, simulations, fiction and all other kinds of learning media for the learners/user’s community. Students can approach this facility with the help of library staff. All the students are required to adhere to the following Library rules strictly:

  • All the students on the rolls of the College shall be eligible to become members of the College library.
  • Every student is entitled to borrow two books for a period of 15 days from the library.
  • The borrower shall be solely responsible for the safety/preservation of the books drawn by him/her.
  • A fine of Rs. 1/- per day per book will be charged beyond due date of, return of the book.
  • In case a book is found mutilated, torn, defaced or misplaced, the actual cost of the book plus 20% of the original cost will be charged from the student.
  • Reference books are to be consulted in the library itself after obtaining permission from the Librarian.
  • The College also operates a book bank from which text books are loaned to poor students of all categories on payment of a nominal security, (i.e., actual cost plus 20% and maintenance charge of Rs. 2/- per book).
