A special awareness programme for the young generation on the importance of statistics under support for statistical strengthening scheme organized by Department of Economics and Statistics at Govt. College Panarsa, Mandi (H.P.) on 25th March 2026 to raise awareness among the youth about statistical products. On this occasion, Assistant Professor of economics, Hira Singh and Assistant Professor Commerce, Dr. Dimple Jamta, shared their views as keynote speakers. As part of the program, a quiz competition and an essay writing competition were also organized for the students, in which they participated enthusiastically. In the quiz competition, Sameeksha secured the first position, Sonal came second, and Manisha stood third. In the essay writing competition Sher Singh secured the first position, Sapna came second and Chandni stood third. The programme concluded with the felicitation of the winners and encouragement of all participants. The principal of the college, Dr. Ursem Lata, stated that the programme proved to be highly informative and inspiring for the students and helped increase their awareness and interest in statistical products.

National Consumer Rights day was celebrated on 24th December 2025 by Department of Commerce, GC Panarsa to create awareness among the students about the rights and responsibility of consumers. Several activities were organized like charts, poster making and models making. The event was successful in spreading awareness and encouraging students to become responsible and informed consumers.
